*Any zander caught from natural waters by commercial fishers falling within Category I referred to in section 88 of the Fishing Act (379/2015) must meet the following measurements:
1) a minimum of 40 cm in the Gulf of Finland and inland waters up until the end of 2018;
2) a minimum of 37 cm in sea areas outside the Gulf of Finland up until the end of 2018 and a minimum of 40 cm thereafter.

PLEASE NOTE! Permitted catch sizes may vary in the future due to regional decisions. The length of a fish is measured from the tip of the snout to the end of the caudal fin with the lobes straightened and compressed together.
